Mr. Bhavesh Patel

Managing Director

Mr. Bhavesh Patel is the Managing Director and founder of Amanta Healthcare Ltd. (erstwhile, Marck Biosciences Ltd.). Driven by Mr. Patel’s vision and passion, it has grown into one of India’s leading sterile dosage company with therapeutic product groups comprising of Fluid Therapy, Injections, Eye Care and Respiratory Care, and Medical Devices. The company manufactures around 80 therapeutic and non therapeutic products and markets them in India and approximately 77 countries across 6 continents. Mr. Patel has over 20 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and personally drives the strategic planning and execution, while supervising the operations of the company. He has lead Amanta Healthcare with a clear strategic road map, establishing the company in the leadership position in the sterile liquid space in India. Mr. Patel is a Mechanical Engineer & a Finance graduate. He is elected as President of Pharmaceutical Form–Fill Seal Association of India (PFFSAI), the industry association. He is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy, Charusat University and member of Corporate Governance committee of Dudhsagar Dairy, one of Asia’s second largest Co- Operative Dairy.

Mr. Surendra Shah

Independent and Non Executive Director

He is a B.Com (Gold Medalist) & B.Sc. (Economics) from London. He is the Independent and Non Executive Director of our Company. He has held senior positions in various organanisations including heading Vice President (Finance) of reputed Textile Mill. He was also associated with Bank of Baroda for 16 years as AGM & as Executive Director (Finance) with Torrent Group for 9 years. At present, he is associated with Ahmedabad Education Society as Director.

Dr. P.G.Shrotriya

Independent and Non Executive Director

He holds Master degree in Pharmacy and also done the Doctorate. He is having more than 38 years of experience in Pharma Industry. He is a well known pharmaceutical consultant. He has served Ranbaxy for long time, heading its one of the manufacturing unit. He has also long association with big Indian Pharma companies like Intas Pharmaceuticals, Ranbaxy, M. J. Pharmaceuticals etc. in capacity of consultant. He is also a member of a Indian Pharmacopoeia Sub Committee, Govt of India, AICTE, ISPE, PDA & DIA. He is also acting as an advisor in Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and as a consultant in Jubiliant Organosys Ltd. He is a fellow member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association for outstanding contribution to the profession. He is also a member of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), trustee in Prof. P C Dandiya Endowment Education Trust, member of Mid day Meal Programme, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He holds membership in International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), Drug Information Association (DIA), Life Membership in Indian pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association and also director on the Board of ISPE – India.
